RAF Defford Airfield Heritage Open Weekend - Croome Park (National Trust) -Update

What a brilliant weekend we had at Croome Park.  Saturday was fantastic, we had so many people come through all eager to see the Red Arrows flypast and later (unfortunately last minute change to timings) the Lancaster flew in gracing us with its presence for several circuits over the church and park.  It was lovely meeting new people and catching up with some old faces.

Our thanks go to those who purchased either aviation related books from our selection from Sedgeberrow Books and photographs from our Images of Worcestershire range.  We managed to bring in a brand new photo of yesterday's Lancaster flying over Croome Church which I busily worked on first thing this morning (see accompanying image).  Unfortunately we weren't blessed with blue skies (we never "swop" skies on our photographs) but at least the rain held off'!  If you didn't manage to buy one today, we will have them available direct from Sedgeberrow Books, 25 High Street, Pershore, Worcs.
